Bravo, what necessary words..., a magnificent idea
Yes, really. It was and with me. We can communicate on this theme.
Talently...
Something any more on that theme has incurred me.

We have two very curious apartment-dwelling cats. If we include enough airholes on the sides and in the top lid, can we snap it all the way shut, to keep them out? Or does it need more air?

Also, it can get dry here in California- will I need to water my worm bin? Or just spritz with a handheld mister?

Thanks so much!

Ansa, your comment was a while ago, but I would definitely recommend adding more bedding. Your food scraps should be covered by at least three inches of bedding and there shouldn't be excess moisture in the bin (only as damp as a wrung-out sponge) and if there is add more bedding to absorb it.

Good luck!

Hi! Love your site.

I recently introduced a worm bin to my office but was shocked at how it smells. It becoming an issue, and I am afraid they are going to get rid of it.

It was set up by someone who has lots of experience, but she didn't include nearly this much bedding and no soil. Just worms and scraps. Its attracting huge amounts of fruit flies too! How can we fix this? Just add more bedding material? I want happy worms, and co-workers.

Any advice?
